Regenerative Therapy

“The natural healing force within each of us is the greatest force in getting well.”

- Hippocrates

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

Platelet rich plasma is a concentrated solution of plasma from a sample of your blood. PRP is enriched with growth factors, growth hormones and cytokines which neutralize pain causing molecules and inflammation, stimulate tissue repair, and collagen growth for healthier and stronger tissue.

Plasma is the liquid part of your blood and when separated properly it can contain a concentrated amount of platelets. Once platelets are in the area that’s being treated, they break down and release growth factors, which are compounds that help cells repair and renew. This in turn triggers your body’s healing process.

PRP can be injected into joints and muscles, applied topically during microneedling for skin rejuvenation and injected into the skin with fillers to create volume. The greatest benefit of this treatment is that you’re treating illness and injury in such a way that the body is being restored. The results of PRP treatment are most noticeable after 2 to 4 months, and are not permanent; it is strongly recommended to do 2-3 treatments and may require touch-up injections at least once per year.
