PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP is a natural treatment option using a concentration of your own platelets to self-heal and regenerate.

Platelets are specialized cells in our blood and contain growth factors, growth hormones, and cytokines that can trigger cell proliferation, speed healing, and stimulate tissue regeneration in the treated area. PRP treatment has no risk of rejection, as patients are using their own personal plasma for each treatment.

Trigger Point and Joint Injections

Trigger point injection (TPI) may be the best option for treating pain in some patients. TPI is a procedure used to treat painful areas of muscle that contain trigger points, or knots of muscle that form when muscles do not relax. Many times, such knots can be felt under the skin. Trigger points may irritate the nerves around them and cause referred pain, or pain that is felt in another part of the body.

Joint Injection —also known as an intra-articular injection—PRP or a local anesthetic and a natural anti-inflammatory medication is injected directly into the joint to relieve pain and inflammation. These injections can temporarily help relieve pain for disorders such as chronic back pain, osteoarthritis, tendinopathy, tendinitis. and overuse injuries.
